Library Building Closed Starting July 6. Curbside Only Services.

Due to the rising case numbers in Dane County, the Monona Public Library is changing our delivery of services. Beginning  Monday, July 6, we will continue to offer curbside pickup and computer use but patrons will not be able to enter the building.

Our service hours will remain the same:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 2pm - 6pm
Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday: 10am - 2pm
Sunday: Closed

During service hours, curbside pickup is available. If you have received a hold notice from LINKCat you can come to the library entrance on Schluter Road and call the library to request curbside pickup during our service hours. No appointment is necessary. When you arrive, call the library and verify your name and account with staff on the phone. Staff will complete the checkout process for you and bring your items out for curbside pickup.

Books can be returned during service hours only on the lower level, using the outdoor bookdrop. We acknowledge that pickup and drop off are in different areas and that this is inconvenient. Given the layout of the library building, and our focus on safety through quarantining of items, this is our best option for the safety of patrons and staff.

Computer use is available by appointment only. Appointments will be set during service hours. Please contact Library Director Ryan to schedule an appointment. He can be reached at (608) 216-7458 or at ryan@mononalibrary.org

For additional details on Curbside Pickup, please go to our Curbside webpage.

We hope that you are safe and healthy, and we appreciate you all for your patience and understanding as we continue to look at the best ways to offer library services to you.
