Wellness on the Water is what we call our Adult Fitness classes, The Wellness on the Water goal is to facilitate improvement of the overall health and wellness within our local community by educating and empowering individuals through fitness.
These exercise class starts in May/June and run through September. The 2022 schedule is here:
Werq Fitness Monday 6:00 - 7:00 pm- Starts Monday, May 16th, 2022 (No class Memorial Day)
All Levels Yoga Flow Wednesday 8:30 - 9:30 am, Starts Wednesday, June 1st, 2022
Where- Outdoor deck at Grand Crossing Park; 6320 Inland Way, Monona Public parking available in parking garage under the Current II apartment building, or in lot behind the Avid Hotel
The sequences will help you build strength and flexibility. The focus is on linking breath with movement and detailed alignment. This class is moderately paced so you will learn the fundamental yoga postures to set you up for a successful yoga practice.
WERQ is the fiercely fun dance fitness class based on pop, rock, and hip hop music. The warm up previews the dance steps in class and the cool down combines yoga-inspired static stretching and balance poses. WERQ is taught by Certified Fitness Professionals, so the WERQout is safe and effective.
