Dance for Preschool with Sara Rohs


Creative Movement Dance Class
Thursday, August 3 to August 17 from 3:30 to 4:00p.m.
For children ages 3-5. Younger children may join in with the assistance of an adult.
Creative Movement Dance fosters physical and cognitive development through dance, music, drama, props, rhymes, and stories. Creative Movement encourages creativity, basic coordination, body awareness.
Registration required. Space is limited to 45

Dance for Ages 6 to 11 year olds with Sara Rohs


Jazz and Hip Hop Dance
Thursday, August 3 to August 17 from 2:45p.m. to 3:15p.m.
For Children ages 6-11.
Explore the joy of music and movement while learning basic hip hop and jazz dance style and movements. Creativity, coordination, rhythm and fun!
Registration required. Space is limited to 35

Presenter:
Sara Rohs has been teaching dance for the past 10 years. Sara recently danced with the Diamond Dancers form the Milwaukee Brewers and the SweatShop Hip Hop Crew out of Madison WI. Sara is the artistic director for the Madison Contemporary Vision Dance Company and director of the Madtown Boys Hip Hop Crew. She teaches dance at A Step Above Dance & Music Academy in Monona.

TEEN ACTIVITIES FOR AGES 13 to 16

(and summer tween/teen volunteers)

PRESENTED BY GLASS NICKEL PIZZA COMPANY

Play mini-disc golf and other crafts and games in the library.

Adults - Summer is the time to celebrate recreational reading for all of us. Our local Monona Starbucks will provide goodie bags for every completed adult reading record (while supplies last). And if this isn't great enough, those who have completed the program and turned in their records will be eligible for the random drawing of an iPad Mini! What could be sweeter?
