Park & Open Space Plan

Master Plan
Background
The City of Monona Parks and Open Space Plan is a document that will guide the department's efforts to develop parks and open spaces as well as enhance and expand recreation programs throughout Monona. The plan focuses on parks, trails, sports fields, recreation facilities, conservation and wildlife habitat. It reflects the community's vision and lays out a five-year road map to meet the park and recreation needs of the community. The Parks & Recreation Board recommended the plan for approval at the February, 2014 Parks & Recreation Board meeting. Official adoption of the plan will be made by the Plan Commission and Monona City Council in 2015.  You can view the plan below.
