In the Community

Our goal is to share with the community the wealth of services that Monona Public Library provides. In an effort to extend and promote library services, we enjoy visiting with the people of Monona. The staff of the Youth Services Department has had a presence in the community in a variety of ways:
  • Library booth at school events, Back to School Night, and the Fire Department Open House
  • Children's activities at the Fall Festival, National Night Out, and PBS Kids Get Up & Go Day.
  • Books to check out or purchase at the Farmer's Market
  • Storytime at Whole Foods, Monona Pool, Winnequah Park, Walmart, Happy Bambino
  • Informational booth at the Early Learning Fair and Culver's on Cottage Grove Road
The library would like to visit your place! Please contact us at 608-222-6127.
