A 30-minute multi-activity storytime. For children aged 2 to 4 years. Siblings are welcome. Picture books, stories, rhymes, fingerplays and music!

A 30 minute multi-activity storytime for children ages 2 to 5 years old. Siblings welcome. Enjoy Picture books, stories, rhymes, fingerplays, and music!
Stay to play in our "Play, Grow, Read!" area after the program.

Bring the whole family! Sing songs, read books, and blow bubbles! Cost of Admission to the pool is required. No additional cost for storytime. 

STORY WALK! Literacy + Fitness!

 
StoryWalk is an innovation approach to encouraging people of all ages to get out and walk while enjoying wonderful children's books. StoryWalk will be set up by the Monona Library & Monona Recreation Dept. at Winnequah Park. StoryWalk was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library and the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition. Watch here for more information.

PLAY, GROW & GET READY TO READ!


Raise a reader! The 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program is an early literacy reading program which encourages parents and caregivers to provide positive, nurturing early experiences by reading aloud to their children ages birth to age 5. We invite you to participate in this exciting, free program. Learn more here. The 3rd Annual Graduation Party is January 2018.
