Eco-Action Tuesdays: Where Honeybees Thrive

Tuesday, February 27, 2018

The volume of problems facing our environment can be overwhelming, but this month we are celebrating positive action! Join Heather Swan, author of "Where Honeybees Thrive: Stories from the Field," who will showcase a wide range of projects that are aiming to encourage healthy pollinators and ecosystems. In her book, she introduces her readers to beekeepers from Wisconsin, California, China, and South Africa; urban farmers from Milwaukee, Wisconsin; blueberry growers from Michigan and Illinois and more. Come hear these stories, taste some honey, and learn strategies for making positive change in our own backyards. Take home an item you will make to help pollinators thrive in your neighborhood!
