Monona Farmers' Market
Sunday, July 22, 2018
Sweet corn has arrived at the Monona Farmers Market!
Pick up this summer favorite at Nehmer’s Produce and Greenhouse and Don’s Produce. You’ll also find melons and early apples at Green’s Pleasant Springs Orchard. The market is bursting with summer favorites: Door County cherries, blueberries, cheese bread and other artisan breads and pastries, squeaky cheese curds, chips and kettle corn, veggies galore, meat to throw on the grill, fresh organic eggs, beautiful flowers and so much more.
Madison Music Foundry, a locally owned and community-supported musician’s workshop, will host its student recital at the Monona Farmers’ Market. This is an opportunity for students taking lessons at the Foundry to perform. Market shoppers will be the lucky audience.
For an update on what’s happening in Monona, Mayor Mary O’Connor will be at the market to answer questions, listen to ideas or just chat. Stop by her table to visit or introduce yourself. She would love to talk with you.
EBT is accepted. The Double Dollars Program is available.
The market, located at Ahuska Park, 400 East Broadway, is open every Sunday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm through October 28th.
