April 24th is Prescription Drug Take-Back Day in Wisconsin. Unused prescription medications in homes create a public health and safety concern, because they can be accidentally ingested, stolen, misused, and abused. In addition, flushing or pouring these substances down the drain means they will get into our water supply where they can't be fully removed. You can bring your unused and unwanted prescription drugs to The Medicine Shoppe in Monona from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
