Q&A with Senator Mark Miller Regarding "Dark Store" Legislation

In response to a lawsuit filed by Walmart against the City of Monona, a group of Monona residents has organized a Q&A session with Senator Mark Miller to discuss pending legislation regarding the "dark store" property tax loophole.

In compliance to the State of Wisconsin Open Meetings Law requirements, public notice is hereby given that members and a possible quorum of the City Council along with City staff may attend a Forum organized by Monona residents, featuring Senator Mark Miller, to learn what residents can do to prevent Walmart and other big-box stores from transferring their property tax burden to home and property owners:
