ALL VOTING ON ELECTION DAY, AUGUST 11, 2020, WILL BE AT THE COMMUNITY CENTER. Social distancing and other safety measures will be in place. You are requested to wear a mask.
In-person absentee voting will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in City Hall, 5211 Schluter Road, from Tuesday, July 28 through Friday, August 7. Photo ID is required, as well as a mask.
An absentee ballot by mail can be requested through Thursday, August 6. You can request a ballot at www.myvote.wi.gov. Or contact us! You must provide your name, Monona address, mailing address if different, the date of the election for which you want a ballot, and a copy of your Photo ID. When you return your absentee ballot, be sure to sign the Certificate envelope, and have your witness sign and provide their address - EVEN IF IT’S THE SAME AS YOURS.
WE URGE YOU TO REQUEST AND RETURN A BALLOT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! The Post Office has suggested voters mail their ballots by the Wednesday before the election. We must receive your ballot by Election Day for it to be counted. DON’T WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE! We want your ballot to count!
If you prefer to deliver your ballot to City Hall, there is a brand new drive-up ballot drop box in the parking lot between the flagpoles.
Call the Clerk’s office at 608-222-2525 if you have any questions.
