    Legend has it that every spring a rabbit would visit children’s homes during the night and leave a woven nest with an egg in it as a sign that spring had arrived. Join us to celebrate spring as we bring this legend to life. Go on an egg hunt to search for real eggs throughout the ALNC grounds, learn how to use natural dyes, learn about other animals that lay eggs, and much, much more!   1. Easter Egg Hunt & Breakfast

    April 15, 2017, 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ Winnequah Park - Dream Park

    Join us for the 19th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Winnequah Park. The hunt begins at 10:00 am SHARP! Don’t be late or you’ll miss all the fun. There will be candy, prizes, lots of fun, and a visit from the Easter Bunny. The hunting grounds will be divided into separate areas for ages 1–2, 3–4, 5–6, and 7–10 years. Please come and join us for this FREE community event. Reserved breakfast seating is available at 8:00 or 9:00 am with pre-purchased tickets. Breakfast assortments will be served, along with the opportunity to take a photo with the Easter Bunny! Call Monona Parks & Recreation office at 222-4167 to make your breakfast reservation.
